Thursday August 12

7:00 p.m. Opening Ceremonies followed by a solemn procession to Christopher Columbus

Waterfront Park for the Annual Blessing of the Fishing Waters. Special invited guests St.

Peter's Society of Gloucester.

9:00 p.m - Sorrento Cheese Presents -  “ Sorrento Cheese Tower Building Competition

for Charity”.  

9:30  p.m. - Main Stage -  Boston's own DooWop Acappella Group Street Magic

                                                

Friday August 13

8:00 p.m. to 9:00  pm– Main  Stage - Comedy Legend "Uncle Floyd" Vivino

9:15 p.m. to 11:00 pm - Main Stage – The Fisherman’s Feast of Boston proudly presents

The Duprees take a stroll down Memory Lane as you enjoy The Dupress classic hits; You

Belong to me,  Have you heard,  My own true love.

Saturday August 14

3:00 - 6:30 p.m.  - Main Stage – Bostons's own Jmmy Bono Geany

4:00 - 5:00 p.m. -  "Sorrento Cheese La Cucina Italiana " Cooking Demonstrations

starring Sorrento's very own CHEF MARCO  as  seen on national TV

 7:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m.-  Main stage   "STREET MAGIC" Boston's Premiere Acappella Group! 

9:15 to 11:00 pm JOEY DEE AND THE STARLITERS also featuring the voice of

Tommy Mara (The Crest)

Sunday August 15

 

11:00 a.m. Outdoor Solemn High Mass in honor of La Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca.  

12:30 noon. The Grand procession of the statue of La Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca through the streets of Boston’s North End accompanied by six marching bands.

2:30 - 6:30 p.m. -   Main stage -  Italo DiMasi "Italian Duo"

4:00 - 5:00 p.m. - "Sorrento Cheese La Cucina Italiana " Cooking Demonstrations starring Sorrento's very own CHEF MARCO  as  seen on national TV

7:30 -10:30 pm. Boston's Rockabilly Band (50's Music)

8:00 p.m. The Famous Flight of the Angel!  As the statue of the Madonna returns to North

street for the finale of the day long procession she is greeted by a crowd of enthusiastic

spectators, each waiting for the opportunity to witness the Famous Flight of the Angel.

Yankee magazine calls it "truly one of Boston’s greatest treasures" and National

Geographic Magazine say’s “It’s a spectacle NOT to be missed!’  As the angel ceremony

is completed the spectators below are covered by a snowfall of confetti paper from the

rooftops.  This year's flying angel is Diana Karamourtopoulis with side angels Jessica

Marie Palazzolo and Cuara Rose D'Amico

10:30 p.m. The closing procession as the Madonna returns to her permanent chapel at 9 Lewis Street.

11:00 p.m. - Main Stage - Grand Raffle Drawing -
